Wide leg and high volume, button fly, with henna stitched into both back pockets and a TUI coin pocket you will find on your own. Fourteen ounces of handloom khadi, rigid, with no stretch anywhere in it. These are the ones your cousins in Mumbai would actually respect.

Buy your true waist size. The volume sits in the leg rather than the waistband, so sizing down to control the drape tightens the seat instead of the hem. If you are between sizes at the waist, or your hips are the widest part of you, take the next size up and have the waist taken in, because khadi does not give.

They soften around the third wear and fade at the thigh first.

Sizing: Tanvi is 5'6 wearing size S. Shaan is 6'1 wearing size M.
